Airtech Airhold Pressure Sensitive Tapes
|
Airhold 1 CBS is an all-purpose, high temperature double-backed holding tape. Airhold 1 CBS is a one mil polyester film coated on both sides with a non-silicone adhesive.
Airhold 10 CBS is a double-sided fabric reinforced tape with a rubber based adhesive on both sides.
Airhold 1 CBS is designed to hold secondary bonded details, release plies, release films and breathers in place during layup and vacuum bagging operations. Airhold 1 CBS is also ideal for holding down low density honeycomb and foam core during machining operations. Airhold 1 CBS leaves very little residue which can be removed with common shop solvents. Airhold 1 CBS can also be used to replace aerosol contact adhesives and works well on inclined tool surfaces.
Airhold 10 CBS is designed specifically for holding honeycomb cores during machining while
allowing the core to be removed without residue. The thick adhesive coating ensures that the core is held firmly in position. Airhold 10 CBS is suitable for use with metallic and non-metallic core. Airhold 10 CBS can also be used to hold down plastic spiral wrap used as a vacuum manifold in the resin infusion process.
