Airtech Release Fabrics/Peel Plies
Airtech Release Fabrics/Peel Plies are normally placed against the back surface of the laminate prior to the application of Bleeders and Breathers. These products are made from nylon, polyester, and coated fiberglass that will easily remove from the cured laminate. The resulting surface will be textured resulting in an excellent surface for secondary bonding or painting. These products reduce or eliminate the need to sand or abrade the surface.

Woven nylon fabric coated with a silicone release agent

Inexpensive, yet high quality, woven polyester and nylon fabrics

Finely woven fiberglass fabric coated with polytetrafluoroethylene (P.T.F.E.)
