Alumina-Tri-Hydrate (ATH)
Alumina-Tri-Hydrate is a filler that you generally use when you need a certain degree of fire protection. It will add good fire-retardant properties to the resin. If you need to add protection in an engine compartment, or anywhere there may be heat or a source of fire, ATH makes a good addition to the mix. It is a white filler. The more you add, the more protection it will provide. Remember, however, that it will also thicken the resin and take away some of its clarity.
