Bluestar Thixo Additive 22646, formerly Rhodia/Rhodorsil Thixo Additive 22646, when added to addition cure silicone rubbers as a third component, changes the viscosity from a pourable consistency to brushable. The use of this additive is perfect for making glove molds. A typical ratio is 100 parts base to 10 parts catalyst to 0.5 parts 22646. Multiple layers may be applied to build thickness. Apply while previous layer is still tacky.
