Macrolite Ceramic Spheres
|
Macrolite Ceramic Spheres are inert, low density spheres containing a multiplicity of minute individual air cells encased in a tough outer shell. These spheres are impermeable to water and can withstand temperatures up to 2000°F.
Macrolite Spheres are ideal for:
* Producing porous vacuum tools
* Use as an economical filler for mass cast epoxies
* Use in producing a lightweight backup material for negative mold construction.

Ordering Instructions
This material is sold by the full box quantity.
MIA Ceramic Spheres have been surface-modified for ease of dispersion and improved properties in epoxy. They produce a lightweight, free-flowing filler you can use to create your own custom putties and fairing compounds. How much you add to the resin determines how much easier they will be to sand and carve. Remember that the more you add to the resin, the more overall compound strength diminishes.
