Ren RP 4040 Machinable Syntactic Clay

Ren RP 4040 is a high temperature resistant, low CTE, machinable, one component epoxy designed for directly machining curing tools for pre- preg parts. Supplied in a patty form, these patties may be hand applied to a heat resis- tant substructure (such as Aluminum Honeycomb), heat cured, and finally machined to the desired tool shape. The resulting tool can be used at 300°F continuously and intermittently up to 350°F under full autoclave conditions.
