Sontector WRD-33 Vacuum Leak Detector

Sontector WRD-33 is the latest technology in vacuum leak detection. It is priced no more than previous units but performs at a much higher level and is more diverse in its uses. Background noises are filtered so that only vacuum leaks can be heard.
Sontector WRD-33 works on the principle of detecting the ultrasound waves produced by leaks, vibrations, mechanically faulty operating equipment and electrical discharges. For finding leaks in a vacuum bagging operation, vacuum leaks from the oven-autoclavehoses, quick disconnects, sealant tapes, vacuum diaphragm or the tool itself can be easily located. The receiver unit electronically converts these high frequency sound waves into an audible sound heard through the headset and to an LED reading. Also included is a transmitter that produces a high frequency sound, used mainly to verify that the receiver is functioning properly.
