Starrett Trammels (59 Series)
|
These Starrett Trammels are very handy for laying out and for scribing arcs and circles beyond the capacity of standard dividers. The trammels, consisting of two heads, will accommodate any size beam from 3/4" to 11/2" in width. The beam is not included. The accessories include large and small caliper legs, large (9") and small (6")divider points which are eccentric for close settings and a set of four ball points with holder. The ball points are used for scribing circles from the center of any hole up to 11/2" diameter. One of the caliper legs includes a joint with an eccentric thumb piece for fine adjustments. A lead pencil may be clamped in either head as a replacement for the calipers or dividers if the application requires it.
