Elkem (Bluestar) Condensation Cure Silicone Rubber

Excellent for general moldmaking, condensation cure systems feature:
1. Low shrinkage, though not as low as platinum-catalyzed rubber
2. Softer cured hardness (lower durometer) then addition cured materials - excellent for molds with deep undercuts.
3. A tin base catalyst which creates a more inhibition resistant material. However, these rubbers, when cured, may inhibit the curing of urethanes when poured into them.
4. Heat resistance up to 350°F intermittently.
