Airtech Non-Coated Peel Plies
|
Release Ply fabrics are peel plies, used to texture the surface of a composite laminate. The peel ply surface is helpful for secondary bonding or painting of the composite laminate. Release Ply fabrics may reduce or eliminate the need for sanding or abraiding. The various weave styles should provide a match for your specific application. The fabrics are scoured and heat set (unless specified) to remove most contaminates and reduce shrinkage.
Release Ply A is a highly drapable nylon peel ply with a more “open” weave style.
Release Ply B is the tightest weave nylon peel ply that produces a “fine” texture.
Release Ply C is the tightest weave polyester peel ply when extra strength is
needed.
Release Ply F is a polyester peel ply that is designed to be drapable yet provide superior
Ultra Ply 22T is a unique polyester peel ply that is woven on the bias for excellent strength
yet very drapable.
