Freeman Match-Lok Cope & Drag Buttons

Freeman Match-Lok Buttons are a simple and economical way for elimi- nating mold shift on flat metal pattern plates. They are precision machined from aluminum, which assures accu- rate and positive matching between cope and drag halves.

Installation Instructions:
• Drill the hole through the plate.
• Ream the hole.
• Counterbore the hole using the correct diameter cutter.
• Select the proper rivet length for the thickness of the plate.
• Place the rivet through the button and the reamed hole, with the head of the rivet on top of the button.
• Using the staking tool, peen the portion of the rivet that extends into the counterbored area to secure it in place.
