RTV 3460 Mold Making Silicone Rubber

Bluestar RTV 3460, formerly Rhodia/Rhodorsil RTV 3460, is a two component, addition cure, room temperature curing, 60 Shore A silicone rubber. It is designed for the prototype and architectural industries where urethane elastomers and foams are commonly used. Molds made from RTV 3460 feature high tear strength, excellent dimensional stability in high pressure applications, and improved release characteristics for long mold life. Because of the relatively short working time, meter mix equipment is mandatory for medium to large molds.
