Partall Film #10 is a water and alcohol based polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) coating comprised of water soluble, film forming materials. It is excellent for releasing epoxies, polyesters, and urethanes. PVA is water soluble - following the release procedure, wash the resulting mold surface using warm water to remove the residual PVA and dry completely.

The recommended application procedure is to apply wax, then PVA Mold Release, then wax again. To properly release from a mold where PVA was used as a part of the release procedure, apply 3 coats of wax release only, wiping the excess between coats. Caution: When pouring a part from the completed mold where PVA was used as a release agent, DO NOT use PVA again. Possible sticking of the part may occur.
