    • Release Ply fabrics are peel plies, used to texture the surface of a composite laminate. The peel ply surface is helpful for secondary bonding or painting of the composite laminate. Release Ply fabrics may reduce or eliminate the need for sanding or abrading. The various weave styles should provide a match for your specific application. The fabrics are scoured and heat set (unless specified) to remove most contaminates and reduce shrinkage.

    Release Ply A is a highly drapable nylon peel ply with a more "open" weave style. Max temperature use: up to 450°F

    Release Ply B is the tightest weave nylon peel ply that produces a "fine" texture. Max temperature use: up to 450°F

    Release Ply C is the tightest weave polyester peel ply when extra strength is needed. Max temperature use: up to 400°F

    Release Ply F is a polyester peel ply that is designed to be drapable yet provide superior strength. Max temperature use: up to 400°F

    Ultra Ply 22T is a unique polyester peel ply that is woven on the bias for excellent strength yet very drapable. Max temperature use: up to 400°F

    Stitch Ply A is a similar version of Release Ply A, with red pinstripe tracers for easier identification on the laminate. Max temperature use: up to 450°F.

    Stitch Ply G is a tight woven polyester that has excellent strength as well as black pinstripe tracers for easy identification on the laminate. Max temperature use: up to 400°F.
