    • High temperature/high tensile strength polyester films coated with a silicone or rubber adhesive.

    Flashbreaker 1 tapes are multi-functional polyester tape with a silicone adhesive. They can be used to hold bagging materials in position during the bagging process, masking off areas, or chemical milling protection. This tape is blue in color, with a 0.001" film thickness, and a temperature resistance to 400°F.

    Flashbreaker 2 is a thicker version of the Flashbreaker 1 tape and should be used where greater strength is required, such as adhesive flash clean-up next to bond lines. This tape is blue in color, with a 0.002" film thickness, and a temperature resistance to 400°F.

    Flashbreaker 5 is thicker yet and may be used for all of the applications above, as well as masking off excess resin when potting inserts. This tape is blue in color, with a 0.005" film thickness, and a temperature resistance to 400°F.

    Flashbreaker 2R tapes are multi-functional polyester tape with a non-silicone, rubber adhesive, where silicone adhesives are not permitted. They can be used to hold bagging materials in position during the bagging process, masking off areas, or chemical milling protection. This tape is green in color, with a 0.002" film thickness, and a temperature resistance to 400°F.
