    • The familiar square head of these dowels remains one of the best methods of offering a sturdy bearing surface for the inserting wrench to grasp. Those dowels which have been frozen in threads by foundry use can be removed with adjustable wrenches.

    All parts of one size are interchangeable, so changes in pin length or bushing length are possible without completely reworking the job. Offering good wear resistance and high strength, these dowels are commonly used for aluminum, gray iron, brass, or plastic pattern equipment and are especially useful for shell mold and hot box pattern equipment.
